1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible

The 1967 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray Convertible was the last year of the second generation of Corvettes and featured a number of upgrades. The 427 cubic-inch L71 V-8 engine with three two-barrel Holley carburetors produced 435 horsepower at 5,800 rpm, backed by the close-ratio Muncie M21 four-speed manual transmission. The 1967 Corvette featured five-slot functional vents on the side fenders, a large air scoop over the center bulge, and dual taillights.

The interior offered safer and more comfortable seats and a teakwood steering wheel. Other features include power brakes and steering, AM/FM radio, tinted windshield, and Positraction rear axle. Car and Driver magazine named the 1967 Corvette Stingray Convertible the 'Best All-Around Car of the Year,' and it is considered by many to be the best of the second generation of Corvettes.
