1964 Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III Saloon

Introduced toward the end of 1962, the Rolls-Royce Silver Cloud III heralded mainly cosmetic changes, most notably a visually striking new four-headlamp arrangement up front and a lowered front fender/hood line. 2-litre alloy block-and-head V-8 engine now produced eight percent more power than before. In total, just 2,044 factory-bodied Silver Cloud III Saloons were produced.

Documented by copies of its original factory records, this example was completed at the factory in October 1963 and delivered new in right-hand drive configuration through Jack Barclay LTD London, before being imported to the United States and spending much of its early life on the East Coast in Connecticut, where it was professionally converted to left-hand drive. Finished in a sleek and smooth special silver with white wall tires, it portrays a timeless appearance. The cabin is inlaid with Scarlet Red hide leather and burl wood trim, fitting for the elite and famous of the era.
