1940 Diamond T 306 Flatbed Stake Truck

Considered by many to be the 'Cadillac' of trucks during its day, the Diamond T blended a 'high society' look with a tried-and-true Hercules engine that could take on any conditions. Dating back to 1905, when Charles A. Tilt built his first motor vehicle, quality and ruggedness were always part of the Diamond-T package.

Tilt ceased car production in 1910 to focus entirely on commercial trucks, producing smaller 1-ton versions and reshaping how the market viewed work trucks. This 1940 Diamond T 306 Flatbed Stake Truck is finely restored in the iconic red and green livery, equipped with bullet-style headlights divided by a horizontally barred chrome grille. The dually rear end is fitted with a nicely restored wood bed flanked by matching wood paneling sides, and 17-inch steel wheels with chrome 'T' logo dog dish hubcaps.
