2019 Ford Shelby Mustang GT350-R

Built to pay homage to the original Shelby GT350, the all-new GT350-R was introduced in 2015 and had a life span of five years. The Ford Performance division and Shelby American created the R addition as the first V-8 Ford with a flat-plane crankshaft and the most powerful naturally aspirated engine Ford had offered in a production vehicle. A true engineering marvel, the GT350-R was also 130 pounds lighter than the GT350, making it the ideal choice for the track and streets.

A 'new, in the wrapper' example, this 2019 Shelby GT350-R was acquired by the Grand Rapids Classics Auto Museum in 2024 with a mere 15 miles on the odometer and the original window sticker still affixed to the glass. Finished in Magnetic Metallic with the optional black stripe with red accent, it is 1 of just 101 GT350-Rs of the reported 806 examples produced in 2019. Given chassis No: KR026, it is an early production example.

2-liter V-8 engine paired with a TREMEC six-speed manual transmission producing 526 horsepower and 429 lb-ft of torque. Fitted with the Equipment Group 920A options including the R Package, 19-inch carbon-fiber seven-spoke wheels, carbon fiber rear wing, and Brembo performance brakes. The cabin features Recaro sports seats in Ebony cloth and Miko suede with red accents, carbon fiber components throughout, no rear seats (R model), and an Alcantara-wrapped steering wheel framing a 200-mph speedometer and 8,250-rpm tachometer.
