2016 Chevrolet Corvette Supercharged Z06

The history of the Z06 package begins with the 1963 Stingray — the first Corvette to flaunt it, turning the Corvette into a road-legal racecar with upgraded suspension, heavy-duty brakes, and the fuel-injected 327 V-8. The Z06 was discontinued until 2001 and has since been offered in every new generation. Part of the seventh-generation C7 Corvette (2014–2019), this 2016 example is equipped with the desirable Supercharged Z06 package.

During its five-year production run, 39,940 Z06 models were produced, but only a mere 2,151 left the factory finished in Corvette Racing Yellow like this example. 2-liter V-8 engine delivers 650 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque through dry-sump oiling, direct fuel injection, variable valve timing, and a more efficient intercooled Eaton supercharger. Performance upgrades over the standard Corvette include larger carbon ceramic Brembo brakes with factory yellow calipers, a sport-tuned suspension, and a lightweight aluminum frame, with massive Michelin P285/30ZR20 rear tires on wider 20x12-inch rear wheels.
