1922 Ford Model T Depot Hack

It is sometimes said that Ford's Model T was perhaps the most versatile vehicle ever built. The Depot Hack was used to ferry passengers and tourists from train stations to hotels in an era when mighty steam-powered trains were the primary means of travel. This beautifully restored example carries all the utilitarian appeal one would expect, with its lovely wood body and AACA Senior badge up front.

Most impressive is the rear passenger section where the wooden sides can be locked upright for hauling goods or lowered for Pullman-style guest seating, with full roll-up side curtains for weather protection. Restored by a Michigan resident, it was sold to the James Collection in Auburn, Indiana in 2014, where it resided next to historically significant automobiles including a Duesenberg Model J. The Grand Rapids Classics Auto Museum welcomed this example into their collection in the fall of 2024 from the James Collection.
